It is interesting to note that the statement was based on a recent study by Jones and Yarhouse on Exodus participants. Many dropped out in the end.

The result? 38 percent of &quot;change&quot; from 73 participants. But as ex-gay organizations do, they always cherry pick scientific studies as often as Bible verses; those 38% reported having complicated heterosexuality or are being celibate. If that is the definition of change Alan claims, then it is exactly what the APA report is indicating. The change, is only external.</description>
