The biggest problem for me with this issue is that whether or not the DJ used the term &quot;sick&quot;, he did use his ex-girlfriends sexuality as an amusing anecdote. Too often LGBT people are not taken seriously by the media, and are present or referred to only as comical props. The fact that some people think it&#039;s &quot;hilarious&quot; that a woman would &quot;turn gay&quot; reveals the sexist disbelief that a woman *may not need a man* to lead a fulfilling and happy life.</description>
